Masters Athletics
SA Masters Athletics (SAMA) caters for men and women athletes aged 30 years and above. The main aim of the Club is to provide an ongoing competition program for mature age athletes in South Australia for people of all athletic abilities.
You will find a varied program of Running, Walking and Field events conducted throughout most of the year. Some events are handicapped which encourages athletes of all abilities. Everyone is welcome to come and try.

2024/25 Summer Championships
The SAMA State Masters Athletics Championships are underway. These Summer Championships are for all SAMA members, and we encourage you to enter. This is your chance to compete in your 5-year age group.
The Main SAMA T&F Championships will be held on Wednesday 26 March and Wednesday 2 April at SA Athletics Stadium.
No need to register beforehand – Entries will be received at the check-in desk when you arrive. Competitors must enter at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of their first event (20 mins for a 5.50pm start!).
Entry fee – $10 per day payable at the SAMA desk inside the stadium by cash or cheque on the day (includes entry to the Stadium – do not pay at the gate).

The website at https://adelaide2025.com.au/ has been updated with all the information you need to know about the AMA Championships to be hosted by SAMA over Easter in April 2025. Facebook and Instagram pages are also available.

Officials and Volunteers are absolutely vital to making this event a reality. If you have some spare time, please consider volunteering to help us deliver an amazing experience for everyone attending.
Volunteers are needed in the lead up to the event as well as on competition days.
