Throws Pentathlon, 56 lb and 100 lb
Individual Events (hammer, shot, discus, javelin, weight) and weight for distance
Heavy Weight Pentathlon, Super Weight
NB. The Heavy Weight Pentathlon is the one event at the Winter Throws which is an Australian Championships Event and Australian Masters Athletics supplies the medals. The HWP officially became an Australian Championship for the Winter Throws in 2023. This is the one event not to miss.
This is the 29th AMA Winter Throws Championships – a competition that is very serious but very social, for the very good through to the raw beginners. This is competition to hand out advice and receive it. This is the weekend to enjoy being a thrower and be the main event without those other track and field events stealing the limelight.
