SAMA Weekend Away 2024 – Moana
SAMA has organised this year’s weekend away for members and friends at the Moana Beach Tourist Park for the nights of Friday 18 & Saturday 19 October.
Moana is a popular beachside town located some 36km south of the city centre and is ideally located for visits to the attractions of McLaren Vale and the Fleurieu Peninsula.
A limited number of Beachside & Surfside villas have been reserved which sleep up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms (the second with bunk beds) at a cost of $156.60 per night for those two nights. Extra nights can be booked at the same rate. A deposit paid to SAMA for the first night is required to secure your booking. Balance to be paid to the Park on arrival.

This year we have arranged to stay at Moana Beach Tourist Park (www.moanabeachtouristpark.com.au) from 18th – 20th October.
As always the Friday night will feature a communal dinner at the Tourist Park’s Camp Kitchen and will include the quiz session with George White as producer and MC.
The Beach Hotel (beachhotelseaford.com.au), a few minutes’ drive from the Tourist Park and located on the corner of Commercial & Griffiths Drive, Seaford. has been booked for Saturday night’s dinner. All SAMA members and friends, whether staying for the weekend or not, are welcome to attend this dinner.

The Moana Parkrun is a free, fun and friendly Saturday morning (8.00am start) event and takes place at Moana Surf Life Saving Club on the Esplanade. Check out parkrun.com.au/moana/.
