Well, it so happens that this Saturday one of our stalwart members, Ros Lowe is celebrating a parkrun milestone – 500 parkruns and 250 volunteers! So if you have no other parkrun commitments, head to Mount Barker to help her celebrate. You could even wear your SAMA singlet – blue is the colour for 500 parkruns!
Mount Barker parkrun course is sealed, flat and fast, so it is good for runners, walkers and 5km PBs. There is loads of parking and a coffee shop right there! And the early mist on the Laratinga wetlands is beautifulI. It is good to arrive about 7.45am for a 7.50 welcome and 8am run/walk start
The event takes place at the Homemaker Centre, 6 Dutton Rd, Mount Barker,5251.

parkrun option
Both runners and walkers may choose to take part in a parkrun of their choice. You are encouraged to wear SAMA uniform.
If you have never done a parkrun, register first with parkrun to get your barcode. Save the email or print off the barcode. Your unique barcode can then be used at any parkrun around the world.
Submit your results to johnhore@gmail.com for collation by SAMA.
